FNN Media has a rare opening for somebody to join our staff to cover the NFC South.

The position requires a minimum of five posts per day with at least one post being dedicated to each team in the division per day. It is critical that fresh content always be available on the site.

The ideal candidate will also be given the opportunity to host their own radio show on the EYES Radio Network, host a video blog and grow their name in the sports journalism industry.

Candidate will also be tasked with selling sponsorships and attracting advertisers to FNN Media’s various platforms including print and online radio. Writer will also earn two-percent of syndicated ad revenue (Google, Burst) generated each month by the site.

This is a part-time position that is ideal for individuals who are eager to venture into the world of sports journalism.

You will be working out of your home with the occasional team meeting over the phone in the evening.

Position will grow into your dream job depending on your level of commitment. Our writers have obtained credentials and sit in the press box on Sunday.

– Qualifications –

* Strong writing skills
* Ability to follow directions
* Ability to gather and report on your own
* Willing to help on sales side of business
* Knowledge of AP Style a plus
* MUST be a huge football fan and live for Sunday afternoons!
* Live in / near a NFL market with a team
* Commitment and desire to succeed are a must
* Familiarity with WordPress a huge plus
